True Function and How To Test Gajmukta!
Real Gaj Mukta has a dull sheen of an ivory and sheen of a pearl mixed together. That’s why it is called Elephant Pearl. Its construction is based on the collective elements inside the Head, Bone Marrow, Calcium, Vitamin D, the fluid of the head of the elephant and a strange secretion of fluid inside the brain of the elephant which goes to this pearl and hence it is created. Its exclusive formation and existence is said to be evaluated from the calcified masses collectively inside the head of the elephant. Most of the ancient elephants has a tendency to create this type of Pearl inside, but generally, the process gets started and ends very fast, which results in either dissolving the mani or gajmukta or it doesn’t takes its form ever. Sometimes small gajmuktas are formed due to this fast-ending process. But some of the types and species of ancient elephants believed to be known as Airavata Species have this tendency to create this elephant pearl / gajmukta / haathi mani inside their head. During creation, it takes months, sometimes years and some elephants even gets weaker physically in that process of creation. So to test this mani, one should sit in NE direction with mani in the right hand, close the palm, and meditate, there should not be any disturbance around and concentrate specifically on gaja mani in your right hand with closed eyes. Once closed, you should not open your eyes for 90 minutes at least.
